Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Pastry Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
3 cups of flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp instant yeast
Warm water for kneading
For the Filling:
250 g chicken breast, cut into small cubes
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Dough:
In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar.
Add the yeast and oil, then gradually add warm water while kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
2. Prepare the Filling:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add the chicken cubes and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Cook until the chicken is fully cooked, then set aside to cool.
3. Assemble the Pastry:
Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Cut it into circles or squares as desired.
Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture and some cheese on each piece of dough, then fold or seal it tightly.
4. Bake:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Place the stuffed pastries on a greased or parchment-lined baking tray.
Brush the tops with a beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Serve warm with tea or your favorite beverage.
