Cheesy Garlic Butter Linguine with Savory Ground Beef

This comforting pasta dish combines tender linguine with a rich, cheesy garlic butter sauce and savory ground beef, making it a perfect meal for any occasion.

Ingredients:

12 oz linguine pasta
1 lb ground beef
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Drain and set aside.

Brown the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
Season with salt and pepper.
Once cooked, remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Aromatics:
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
Once melted, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Prepare the Sauce:
Stir in the Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes (if using).
Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine.
Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Add Cheeses:
Gradually stir in the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheeses until fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
Season the sauce with additional salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Combine Pasta and Beef:
Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet, stirring to combine with the sauce.
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to ensure the pasta is well coated with the sauce and beef mixture.

Serve:
Remove the skillet from heat.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve hot and enjoy!
