parmesan crusted chicken
INGREDIENTS :
4 chicken breasts, pounded thin
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free alternative)
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs (or gluten-free/low-carb alternative)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or nutritional yeast/vegan Parmesan)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter (or dairy-free alternative)
INSTRUCTIONS :
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Crack Chicken Tenders
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.
