Homemade Shawarma – A Taste of the Middle East!

Nothing beats the aroma of spiced, juicy shawarma sizzling in the kitchen! This recipe brings restaurant-quality flavors right to your home. Who’s ready for a flavor-packed meal?

Ingredients:

2 lbs chicken thighs (or beef/lamb strips)
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp coriander
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cayenne (optional for heat)
Pita bread, garlic sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers (for serving)

 

Directions:

1 Marinate the meat – Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and spices. Coat the meat and let it marinate for at least 2 hours (overnight for best results).
2 Cook it up – Grill, bake, or pan-fry until juicy and golden brown. Slice into thin strips.
