Crispy Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Sauce

Ingredients:

For the Chicken:
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying
For Garnish:
  • Fresh chopped parsle
  • For the Creamy Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or cooking cream)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
  • Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken:

  • If the chicken breasts are thick, slice them in half lengthwise.
  • Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Set up three bowls:
    • First bowl: flour.
    • Second bowl: beaten eggs mixed with milk.
    • Third bowl: breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
  • Coat each chicken piece in flour, then dip in egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

2. Fry the Chicken:

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  • Place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

3. Make the Creamy Sauce:

  • In a pan, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the cream and let it warm up.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg (if using).
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

4. Serve:

  • Slice the chicken and serve it on top of the sauce or drizzle the sauce over it.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
