 Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll-Ups

Crispy, Cheesy, Irresistible! A Family-Favorite Snack or Appetizer

Looking for an easy, delicious, and crowd-pleasing recipe? These Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll-Ups are the perfect solution. Golden, buttery croissant dough wrapped around smoky ham and melted cheddar cheese — what’s not to love? They’re quick to make and even quicker to disappear!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tubes of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 pound sliced ham (deli-style, thin or thick cut)
  • 8 cheddar cheese sticks (or any cheese of choice, like mozzarella or gouda)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, garlic powder, or dried herbs like oregano or parsley

Step-by-Step Instructions:

 Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Prepare the Crescent Dough

Open the crescent dough tubes and carefully separate the dough into triangles along the perforated lines.

 Step 3: Assemble the Roll-Ups

  1. Take one slice of ham and wrap it around a cheese stick.
  2. Place the ham-wrapped cheese at the wide end of a dough triangle.
  3. Roll it up tightly toward the point, tucking the ends if needed to hold in the cheese.

Repeat with remaining dough, ham, and cheese.

 Step 4: Butter Mixture

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with Worcestershire sauce. You can also add a pinch of garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor.

 Step 5: Brush and Top

Brush the top of each roll-up with the butter mixture. If you like, sprinkle with sesame seeds or herbs for extra crunch and aroma.

 Step 6: Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.

 Step 7: Serve

Serve hot and fresh! The cheese should be gooey and melty, and the croissant dough perfectly crisp. Dip them in mustard, ranch, or marinara sauce if you like.

Pro Tips:

  • Want it spicy? Add a slice of jalapeño inside each roll.
  • Swap the cheddar for Swiss or pepper jack for a flavor twist.
  • Use crescent dough sheets instead of triangles if you want to cut your own sizes.

Storage & Reheating:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 300°F (150°C) for 5–7 minutes to keep them crispy.
