- Million Dollar Lasagna Recipe
Rich, cheesy, and layered with flavor — this lasagna truly lives up to its name!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 package (8 oz) uncooked lasagna noodles
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the meat:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess grease. - Add sauces:
Stir in marinara sauce and tomato sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. - Make the cheese filling:
In a bowl, combine ricotta, cottage cheese, cream cheese, and 1 cup of mozzarella. Mix until smooth. - Assemble the lasagna:
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer as follows:- 1 cup meat sauce
- Layer of uncooked noodles
- Half of cheese mixture
- More meat sauce
- Repeat layers, ending with sauce on top.
- Top with remaining mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Then uncover and bake for another 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. - Rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
