 Ingredients:
For the Beef & Sauce:
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups marinara or pasta sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- Optional: 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
For the Casserole:
- 20 oz cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
 Directions:
1. Cook the Beef Mixture:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onions until fully cooked. Drain the excess fat. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Stir in the pasta sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Let it simmer for 5 minutes to develop flavor.
2. Assemble in the Crockpot:
Spray your slow cooker with nonstick spray. Layer the ingredients in this order:
- A spoonful of beef sauce on the bottom
- A layer of ravioli
- A handful of shredded mozzarella + Parmesan
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.
3. Slow Cook to Perfection:
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours
or - Cook on HIGH for 2–3 hours
(Do not stir while cooking!)
Tips for Best Results:
- Frozen ravioli? No need to thaw—just add it straight in.
- Cheese lover? Add ricotta or layer in some creamy Alfredo sauce between the ravioli.
- More nutrition? Stir in chopped spinach or mushrooms with the beef.
 What to Serve With It:
- Garlic bread or cheesy pull-apart rolls
- A crisp Caesar salad
- Roasted vegetables or steamed broccoli
