Pasta And Peas In Red Sauce
“I’m not usually crazy about these, but my hubby insists we have them for Christmas Eve dinner so I found this recipe. One taste and he declared these are the best he’s ever had! They’re going to be a permanent staple on our holiday list now.”

Ingredients:

– 8 oz pasta (such as penne, fusilli, or farfalle)
– 1 cup frozen peas
– 1 cup red sauce (homemade or store-bought)
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Grated Parmesan cheese, optional

Instructions:

1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add frozen peas and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Add red sauce to the skillet and stir to combine with peas.
4. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with the red sauce and peas.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
