Quaint 7 Minute Frosting that tastes like marshmallow cream. A light-weight and fluffy frosting for nearly any cake!
Components
- 2 giant egg whites unbeaten
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup chilly water
- ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar or 1 teaspoon corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Mix the egg whites, sugar, water and cream of tartar within the high of a double boiler. Combine completely.
- Place over boiling water and beat always till combination holds a peak. It will take at the very least 7 minutes, however almost certainly nearer to 10 minutes.
- Take away from the warmth.
- Add vanilla and beat till thick sufficient to unfold.
- Makes 5-6 cups of frosting.
