Peach upside down cake
Ingrédients
1 (20 ounce) can Slices peaches in heavy syrup(drained)reserve a cup of juice for cake.
1 stick 0f butter, melted
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 (9 ounce) package yellow cake mix
add melted butter to pan and brown sugar in 9×13 cake pan or a large cast iron skillet 2 inches deep Place peach slices in sugar mixture.
Prepare cake mix according to the package
directions.
Except I use cup of peach juice instead of water.
Pour cake batter evenly over peaches.
Step 4
Bake at 350 degrees F, 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
My cast Iron skillet baked for 1 hour, batter was thicker
