1 Preheat your oven to 350º and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
2 Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer until light and creamy.
3 Add eggs, vanilla extract, and beat for an additional 2 minutes. Then add flour, baking soda, salt, and mix until just combined.
6 Scoop balls using a cookie scoop onto baking sheets and add a pecan half to the top of each cookie. Bake until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.
7 Cool cookies on a wire rack.
